Did you know?
Many workplace health and benefits plans will provide reimbursement for services provided by a Registered Dietitian. We suggest calling your health plan provider to inquire.
In the province of Alberta, the Canada Revenue Agency classifies Registered Nutritionists/Dietitians as “Authorized Medical Practitioners”. This means that you can save your receipts and supply them to your accountant for a non-refundable tax credit.
Nutrition services are charged directly to the client as we are not able to directly bill insurance companies. A detailed receipt will be provided for you, that you can submit to your insurance provider.
Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice should you need to cancel or re-schedule an appointment. A $75 fee will be charged for missed appointments and that money will be donated to a cause of FED Nutrition’s choosing.
